How To Get The Perfect Manicure At Home!

I am so excited to write this blog because I love nails and nail art! So, today I am going to show you how to create the perfect manicure at home! Let’s get started!

MOISTURIZE AND EXFOLIATE

Exfoliating is great for your skin because it takes off all of the dead skin cells and leaves your skin super soft! But, exfoliating leaves your skin pretty dry. So putting moisture back into your skin is super important so use a hand moisturizer. Now, let’s move on to the next step!

FILE AND SHAPE

When you file the nail the polish should go on smoother. Because the nail is dry and when the nail has its natural oils the polish should slide off. Then, shape your nails to the desired shape.

POLISH

Finally, the next step is polish! Any polish you desire! I love the color blue so I used blue nail polish.

I love lush because their packaging and products are unique. They have stuff like bath bombs, bubble bars, face masks, shampoo bars, fun and stuff like that. Now you are probably wondering what is a bath bomb? Or what is a shampoo bar? Or what is fun? Well, let me tell you all about it! A bath bomb is a ball that you put in that bath and it fizzes in your bath and turns the color your bath bomb is. It also makes your skin super soft after!

Now, a bubble bar is bar that you crumble under your running bath water and it makes tons of bubbles! Now, fun is like play dough but it is shampoo, body wash, bubble bar, and you can play with it all in one package! It is super fun! You get it?! Last but not least, a shampoo bar looks like soap and you place the bar in the middle of your hand and run it under it water and lather it up in your hand and shampoo your hair! It is super cool!

Now you know why Lush is so unique and I love their products!

How To Use Lipstick As Eyeshadow?

#breslinbeat

A photo posted by Nya Breslin (@nyabreslinmakeup) on

Here is one of my favorite looks I created yesterday! But, guess what I used for the eyes? Liquid lipstick! Yes, I actually used liquid lipstick as eyeshadow. All I did was apply the liquid lipstick to my eyelids using the applicator it came with. Then, I blended the liquid lipstick with an eyeshadow brush. Then I set my eyelids with a blush. Yes, you read it! I set my eyelids with a blush! Next, I took a M.A.C. shimmery gold eyeshadow pigment and put that on top with a eyeshadow brush. Then, I completed my face… and Voila! Done!
